Yesterday Mom and I explored Palmyra on foot a little bit. We walked down to the marina and saw the Erie Canal, bought some postcards at the bookstore, and visited the Palmyra Cemetery with Aunt Sarah. E. B. Grandin is buried at the Palmyra Cemetery; we visited his print shop the other day (where the Book of Mormon was printed):
We also checked out an old Mason Temple with Dad, Grandpa Baker, and Aunt Sarah. We learned that Joseph Smith studied the Mason religion, and there are a lot of similarities between their religion and ours. Here is a picture of a small part of the ceiling in their meeting hall:
Then tonight we went to the Wayne County Parade. It was great!
