Today's Outing

We bought a second vehicle this week, so we get to do more fun things now. Today we took an outing to the Arizona Mills Mall with Grandma Lu:

Liz and Heidi took a ride on the carousel and loved it.

The mall has some pretty cool holiday decor. Here's a Christmas rabbit.

Afterwards, the girls enjoyed chicken nuggets and French fries at Wendy's.

Isn't this picture awesome??? I was making cookies this afternoon, and Heidi loved them!

Comfy Cozy

I went into the girls' room to get Heidi up from her nap, and this is how I found Liz. She had emptied out her toy box, taken the bedding off the bed (including the mattress), and went to sleep in a big pile of stuff on the floor.

One Unhappy Ballerina

Elizabeth has got to be the only two-year-old girl in the world who doesn't like dressing up as a ballerina. Here she is throwing a temper tantrum after I put on her ballet shoes for dance class:

I went upstairs for just a couple minutes, and when Heidi and I came down, Liz had eaten almost an entire box of crayons. Oh, and that was after she colored all over herself.

It's hard to see the detail in the picture, but she's got crayon scribbles all over herself, and she's got crayon bits around her mouth. (The clarity on the picture isn't very good because Miss Lizzie slimed the camera lens yesterday, unbeknownst to me.)

Every time I open the fridge, this kid bolts for it. She is quick!

Daddy got home from drill tonight, and Lizzie helped herself to his hat and watch. Too cute!

(Then she even put on his boots to complete the ensemble, but I didn't get a picture of that one.)

Lookin' Girly

Grandma Ellsworth did Lizzie's hair today. (It would be more appropriate to say that Grandma and Grandpa did her hair, because it was a two-person job. Grandpa had to keep Lizzie entertained and her hands occupied so that she wouldn't put up too big of a fight.) Anyway, behold: Lizzie's first pigtail:
