Snow
The weather forecast predicted the first snowfall of the season today. When we left Toledo this morning, there wasn't any snow on the ground--but we did come across a fair amount of snow as we were driving:
But yes, we made it safely to our destination. Yay! :o)

Fallen Timbers
Today we visited the monument at Fallen Timbers. It overlooks the site of a battle that took place in 1794. You can read about it here, but essentially, the end result was that Americans took land from the Native Americans, and that land eventually became the state of Ohio in 1803.

Maumee Bay State Park
Today we went to the beach to check out Lake Erie (about 30 minutes from our house). The girls loved it!

Christmas Tree Farm
This morning we went to Whitehouse Christmas Tree Farm and got ourselves a real Christmas tree. (It's between seven and eight feet tall, and it smells great!)
We'll post some more pictures after we decorate this weekend.
We got to pick out our Christmas tree!
And we ate hot chocolate and hot dogs.
And we got to see some animals.

Celebrate!
Daddy finished his last final of the semester yesterday, so we went out to a buffet to celebrate. The girls especially loved the Icees and cotton candy. (And Liz downed the Jello while Heidi ate like three servings of the mac and cheese.)

Queen Elizabeth
We do a lot of our Christmas shopping online, so we have a lot of boxes lying around. Lizzie decided to make herself a chair to sit on while watching TV. Scott likes to call it Queen Elizabeth's throne. He even taught her to say, "Off with their heads!"
