Spring Break!

Yay... Daddy's on Spring Break! We celebrated by having a family day:

Watching Daddy clean the snow off the car.

Playing at McDonald's for lunch.

A birthday party for Mommy. :o)

Fifth Disease

On Saturday morning, Liz woke up with a rash on her face. We finally got in to see the doctor this morning, and she thinks it was caused by a virus called Fifth Disease. Fortunately, Liz is happy as can be... no symptoms except the rash.

This picture was taken on Day 3, and the rash is pretty hard to see here. It's pretty well confined to her cheeks, nose, and around her mouth. It should go away on its own--without any treatment--in the next week or two.

"Sugar tastes so yummy!"

After our trip to the grocery store, Mommy was pretty worn out. So she put Heidi down for a nap and lay down on the couch for a minute. A couple minutes later--after a suspicious silence--Lizzie comes in and says, "Sugar tastes so yummy!" Turns out, she opened a box of cherry jello mix and started eating the powder plain. (Sigh.)

Magically Delicious

When Heidi eats Lucky Charms, she likes to eat it dry and pick out all the marshmallows. Ha ha.

Happy Valentine's Day!

When the girls woke up this morning, they let themselves out of their room and went downstairs--to find their Valentine's baskets.


Liz couldn't be coerced into looking up from her new puzzle long enough to take a picture.
