(Sigh)
So yesterday was Presidents' Day, and Daddy had the day off. We thought we'd celebrate by having a picnic at Freestone Park. Lizzie was enchanted by this car. When it was time to ride the train, we told Lizzie it was time to go. Lizzie threw a major tantrum, because she wanted to drive the car instead. So we spent the entire train ride trying to subdue a tantruming toddler, while the people sitting behind us criticized our parenting skills. Oh, what fun.

Sounds like good parenting to me. I'm sorry that you had to deal with a tantruming toddler and critical onlookers at the same time.
ReplyDeleteStupid people. Everyone has different children and different joys and trials with those children. If they were trying to raise Lizzy they could make their decisions, but as onlookers they should keep their opinions to themselves. Help is the only thing that should be offered, ala President Kimball and the airport story.
