Spring Break 2010

For Spring Break, Mommy and Daddy took me to Las Vegas. (But no worries, we didn't gamble.) :o) I got to visit all sorts of neat places. Here I am in my stroller: Here we are at the St. George Temple. (We came home by way of St. George.) This picture was taken at the Flamingo Hotel on the Strip, where we visited the Wildlife Habitat. We saw flamingos, giant fish, ducks, and turtles.
This picture was taken at the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. While we were there, we saw a cool light and sound show. This picture was taken in front of the Atlantis Fountain:
This picture was taken at the Old Mormon Fort in Las Vegas. Mommy and I are standing in front of the original wall of the fort. Did you know that Mormons were the first Anglo settlers of Vegas? They were called to settle the area and establish a mission.
Here's a picture of me and Daddy, standing at the replica gate of the fort. (The sun was in my eyes.) This picture was taken at M&M's World, located on the Strip. While there, we saw a fun 3-D video.
This picture was taken at the Bellagio Conservatory. Mommy really enjoyed the Bellagio's cool fountain shows. These next two pictures were taken at the Las Vegas Temple:
Other things we did on vacation: saw the Mirage volcano, visited UNLV campus and the Marjorie Barrick Natural History Museum, watched the trapeze artists at Circus Circus, saw the Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, visited the Atomic Testing Museum, saw the Shoppes at the Venetian, drove through Zion National Park, watched "Ocean's 11" (which was filmed, in part, at the Bellagio), and probably a few other things that Mom can't remember right now. :o) We had a great time!

  2. Sounds like a fun trip! I'm glad you had a good time. And it's tender to think that we might have been in the same state at the same time.
